Lettre d’information 21/2015 – 29.05.2015
From April, 20 to April, 24, we were 11 last-year students, with Ms de Barsy and Ms Delathuy, to take part in the 3rd and last trip of the Comenius project, Water For All, All For Water. We went to Massa in Tuscany and there, we met the students and teachers from the other countries (The Netherlands, Germany and of course, Italy). We’re going to tell you a bit more about our very nice stay.
On Monday, we took off at 7:00 from the airport of Charleroi and we landed around 9:00 in Pisa. We took the train to Massa and then a bus to Marina di Massa, where our hotel was situated. We were welcomed by some Italian students and their teacher and we visited the city of Massa. There were orange trees everywhere and the sun was shining. It was really nice.
On Tuesday, we went to their school to do our presentations on water. The theme was this time water in jobs and water in sports. There were presentations, games and even a song. In the afternoon, while the teachers were working on the final report, we went to the beach!!! It was perfect! The sun was shining, it was hot, it looked like we were on holiday 😉 Some of us went into the sea but the water was a little too cold. But all the same it was pleasant. Then, we went to the swimming pool and Travis and Fabian wanted to push the girls into the water! It was funny 😀
On Wednesday, we went to a marble quarry in the morning. It was immense and impressive. We also saw the marble manufacturing and cleaning. In the afternoon, we visited Lerici, a beautiful small city on the Ligurian coast. There, we went to the beach all together with the Italian, German and Dutch students and teachers, and we ate a delicious ice cream. In the evening, we went to the restaurant with our teachers and then we had a drink in a nice pub.
On Thursday, we visited Pisa. It was really beautiful. We saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa and of course we took many pictures with it! In the afternoon, we went shopping! We bought lots of very beautiful things, like shoes, clothes, and other things 🙂 In the evening, we ate at the hotel with the other students and teachers, and then we had a drink for our last evening together.
The last day, we were very sad to say goodbye to everybody and to leave this beautiful country 🙁 This trip is unforgettable.
Thanks to Ms de Barsy and Ms Delathuy, we all keep an excellent memory of this trip to Italy 🙂
THANK YOU ♥ ♥ ♥
